Yanks, Red Sox Stay Alive; Giants 0-5, Jets 3-2

The New York Yankees and the Boston Red Sox stayed alive in their ALDS series with victories on Sunday.

The Yankees beat the Indians 1-0. Greg Bird homered for the only run of the game. Masahiro Tanaka pitched a gem and Aroldis Chapman got the save for New York. Cleveland leads the Best of 5 Series 2-1. Game 4 is Monday in New York.

The Red Sox scored 6 runs in the 7th inning to break open a close game and defeated the Houston Astros 10-3. Mitch Moreland had 3 hits for Boston. Houston leads the Best of 5 Series 2-1. Game 4 is at Fenway Park on Monday.

Both NLDS Series will play on Monday as well.

Los Angeles at Arizona   Dodgers lead series 2-0

NFL Sunday

The LA Chargers beat the New York Giants 27-22. The Giants are 0-5. Eli Manning was 21 for 36 for 183 yards and 2 touchdowns.

The Jets won their 3rd game in a row beating the Cleveland Browns 17-14. The Jets are 3-2. Josh McCown threw 2 touchdown passes for the Jets.
