A More Normal Week 2 in High School Football

It was a more normal week in Week 2 of the High School Football Season.

All 10 teams in the NH Register Top 10 Poll were victorious, so I would not expect any changes.

That does not mean, however, that there won't be any surprises in Week 3 which starts on Thursday night.

My featured game on Friday night is a game I broadcast every year - Notre Dame(WH) at West Haven. This year the game is being played at Ken Strong Stadium. I know it's a cliche, but records don't mean a thing in this game. This has been a great rivalry for many years - an intra-city rivalry at that.

The game will be broadcast on ESPNradio1300, ESPNradio1300.com & iheartradio beginning at 6:55pm.

Plus I'll have scores of other games being played around the state.

Check out the Video Highlights from my Broadcast on Friday night at Jonathan Law.

The Pregame ceremony was something special. We've reached over 47,000 people with this ceremony and had over 300 shares!

A father of one of the Law Captains is surprised by his father who had returned from Kuwait that afternoon and went right to the field. The officials gave him a jersey to wear and he walked out to mid-field for the coin toss and surprised his son. His daughter was also shocked. She is a Cheerleader on the Law team. You have to see it.

So we await the new Top 10 Poll and we await the surprises ahead in Week 3.

The good thing - we get to find out together.
