Yanks Fall Further Back in AL East

The Yankees lost more ground in the AL East race losing to Toronto 4-2 Tuesday night in Toronto. CC Sabathia took the loss for New York, who also left the game in the 3rd inning with inflamation in his knee. Garrett Cooper drove in both Yankee runs.
The Red Sox won their 7th straight beating Tampa Bay 2-0. Chris Sale got his 14th win of the season. He allowed just over 8 innings and had 13 strikeouts. The Red Sox lead the Yankees by 4 games in the AL East.
The Mets defeated the Texas Rangers 5-4. Yoenis Cespedes, Michael Conforto and Travis d'Arnaud all homered for the Mets.
Umpire Joe West has been suspended by MLB 3 games for comments he made about Texas Ranger player Adrian Beltre.
