The Road to Kirkland, Washington ended for Connecticut East as they lost to Rhode Island in the Championship Series of the Junior Softball(13-14) Regional Tournament in Orange.
The Championship Series was a Best of 3 and Rhode Island won 2 straight by identical 10-0 scores.
Conn. East had a great tournament and have nothing to be ashamed of. The girls did a great job and they loved my Wally, the parents were a great bunch of people and I enjoyed meeting them. Wally and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves at the Tournament. The people that run this Tournament do a spectacular job as well. It takes a lot of work and dedication to host a tournament.
The 1 thing however I never get tired of - meeting new people at different Sporting Events.
