The Yankees continued their slump, losing on Sunday to the Texas Rangers 7-6. The Yankees trailed 7-0 and mounted a comeback, but it fell short.

Gary Sanchez and Ronald Torreyes homered for New York.

The Mets beat the Giants 8-2 completing a 3 game sweep. Rene Rivera homered twice, Curtis Granderson and Jay Bruce also homered for the Mets.

The Angels defeated the Red Sox 4-2 at Fenway Park. Mitch Moreland and Jackie Bradley Jr. homered for Boston.

Jordan Spieth defeated Daniel Berger on the 1st Playoff hole to win the Travelers Championship at the TPC River Highlands in Cromwell.

The Mets have promoted Tim Tebow to Class High "A" baseball to Port St. Lucie in the Florida State League.
