A family trip to Wallingford on Thursday to watch Cromwell take on Sheehan in Boys Baseball on Sheehan's Senior Day. Also a chance to see my grandson Sam play in his final regular season game at Sheehan. He has had a tremendous Senior season. Where has the time gone. It seems like yesterday that I watched him play his first T-Ball game in the Yalesville Little League. But Cromwell spoiled the day beating the Titans 9-6, scoring all 9 runs in the 6th inning. Sheehan had a 4-0 lead going to the 6th inning. Sheehan made a stirring comeback in the 7th inning scoring 2 runs and had the tying run at the plate before falling to the Panthers. Cromwell finished 13-7, Sheehan 11-9.
