Wednesday night Wally and I travelled to Seymour to broadcast Westhill(Stamford) at Seymour in Girls Softball. Both teams came into the game with identical 17-2 records. It was a very entertaining game but it's the Wildcats coming out on top 5-1.
Jenna Geffert was the winning pitcher, allowing only 4 hits. Shari Minalga had 2 hits and 4 rbis, Beca Findley had an rbi, Becca Johnson had 3 hits and scored 2 runs and Gina Ferrara had 2 hits and scored 2 runs for Seymour.
Sam Winereb had the Westhill rbi. Seymour finishes 18-2, Westhill 17-3.
