Hale Ray Beats North Branford to Stay Unbeaten

Wally and I travelled to T-Bird Land Thursday to take in Hale Ray and North Branford. I am constantly amazed at how many people -  players, parents and little children love my Wally. But as I always say - how can you not love him.

As for the game, Hale Ray topped the T-Birds 4-2 to go 10-0. North Branford falls to 7-2.

Katrina Ceceri was the winning pitcher. Callie Burke had 2 hits and 2 rbis, Jacey Clark had a single and scored a run and Skyler Rapuano was spectacular at shortstop, making several great plays, including one to end the game.

Julia Haeckel had a single, triple and an rbi and Brianna Raccio had 2 hits for North Branford.

As for Friday, Wally and I hope to be out again - you have to always check to see which games are on and which fields are playable.

But there is a huge battle in Eastieville on Friday - Hand and East Haven - 2 evenly matched teams - a Divisional Battle which could lead to a spot in the SCC Tournament.
