Weather Playing Havoc at Start of Spring Season

The weather is playing havoc at the start of the Spring Season, causing unplayable fields. Snow still covers many fields and rain is predicted this week. Many teams have not been able to get outside to even practice, which will hinder the start of the games, scheduled for Saturday, April 1st.

Obviously, there are scrimmages scheduled in Baseball and Softball this week, but again, how many get played, remains to be seen.

Softball Scrimmages scheduled for Monday

SHA at Branford, Ansonia at Platt Tech, North Branford at West Haven, Cheshire at Seymour, Conard at Hand, Derby at Plainville, Lauralton Hall at ND(Ffld)

Baseball Scrimmages scheduled for Monday

Lyman Hall at North Haven, Hamden at Hand, Newington at Xavier, Masuk at Jonathan Law, Shelton at Ansonia, Platt Tech at Derby, ND(WH) at Guilford, East Haven at St. Joseph, North Branford at West Haven

Keep your fingers crossed and maybe we can get this Spring Season started.
