Mercy and Hand dominated the SCC Tournament Girls Basketball Semifinals with convincing victories. Mercy took care of Guilford in Game 1 62-34. Mercy had 4 players in double figures. Kameryn King 13, Isabella Santoro 12, Meghan DeVille 12, Keri Kernisan 11 led Mercy. Amanda King had 15 points for Guilford.
Hand took care of Hamden in Game 72-43. Gabby Martin led Hand with 22 points, Halle Freund 12, Gabby Egidio 11, Sara Wohlgemuth 10 led the Tiger charge. Taniyah Thompson led Hamden with 16 points.
Hand will meet Mercy for the SCC Tournament Championship Wednesday night at 7pm at East Haven High School.
