Tuesday's Broadcast - the CIAC State Hockey Tournament Division 2 Championship Game - #1 seed North Haven vs. #2 seed Woodstock Academy - all I can say is OH BABY! these 2 teams put on a classic performance for the huge crowd in attendance - after a scoreless 1st period - Woodstock broke through in the 2nd Period on a goal by Don Sousa off a scramble in front of the net; it stayed that way until the 3rd Period, when with 5 1/2 minutes left, Tommy Guidone scored for North Haven to tie it at 1-1; the game went to Overtime - and at 5:35 of the OT Period, Alex Petersen scored for North Haven and the Nighthawks had a 2-1 win and the D2 Championship

The 2 Goaltenders were absolutely magnificent.

Bryce Petersen of North Haven made 31 saves while Dante Sousa of Woodstock made 28 saves.
