NFL Giants Lose on Last Play; MLB Yankees Lose in Extras

In NFL Thursday Night Football, the Giants lost to the Washington Football Team 30-29 on the last play of the game. Dustin Hopkins kicked a 43 yard Field Goal to win it for Washington. Hopkins had missed a 48 yard Field Goal on the last play of the game, but the Giants were offsides and Hopkins got another chance and he made it worth his while.

Giants QB Daniel Jones was 22 for 32 for 249 yards and a touchdown. Washington is 1-1, the Giants are 0-2.

In MLB, the Yankees lost to the Orioles 3-2 in 10 innings. Joey Gallo homered for New York. The Orioles tied the game in the bottom of the 9th inning on a Wild Pitch.

The Red Sox and Mets had Thursday off.
