In American Senior Legion(19u) play on Sunday, Madison remained undefeated beating Orange 4-1. Chris Wanat was the winning pitcher. Ryan Knight got the Save. Eli Davies had a hit, rbi, 2 walks and a stolen base for Madison, now 5-0.
West Haven improved to 2-0 beating Wallingford 3-0. Lorenzo Espinal pitched a no hitter for West Haven. Michael Boni had 2 hits, including a Double for West Haven.
Hamden defeated Branford 6-3. For Hamden, Jack Lindberg was the winning pitcher in relief. Lindberg allowed no hits and had 7 strikeouts. Mike Nista added 2 hits.
