It may have been cold outside, Hamden's Ronnie Ellis was definitely heating up! His 20 points (16 in the first half) powered Hamden to a 72-55 victory over visiting West Haven Tuesday night. Keys to the victory included shooting 58% from the field and committing only 9 turnovers while forcing West Haven into committing 18. With help from Jaylen Ricks(13 points, 11 points in the 2nd half), and Victor Rosario (13 points 3-3ptrs) Hamden improved to 4-0 on the season.
West Haven led by Josh Moncrieffe (22 pts) and previous "Hummel Hot Dog Player of the (Game" Josiah Steinman (15 pts) dropped their 4th straight game.
