Miranda Lambert Performs 'Bluebird' From Her Tennessee Farm For ACM Special

Miranda Lambert was one of the artists featured on Sunday night's (April 5) ACM Presents: Our Country special. Lambert gave an acoustic performance of her single, "Bluebird" from the comfort of her Tennessee farm.

In a plaid shirt with a purple bandana, the country singer sat with her guitar on her front porch. Ahead of singing, she reflected on being married to her husband Brendan McLoughlin on that very porch and how she finds peace in the nature.

"We’re in it together. Thank goodness for technology [so that we] can still connect," Lambert said. "Music is medicine, I’ll say it before and I’ll say it again." She then started strumming her guitar leading into her performance.

"Bluebird" is Lambert's latest single from her Wildcard album, which was released in November 2019. The new album is nominated for Album of the Year at the 2020 ACM Awards.

ACM Presents: Our Country replaced the 55th Annual ACM Awards which were postponed due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. The 2020 ACM Awards will now take place a few months later on Wednesday, September 16.

The rescheduling moves the event from its typical Sunday night to a Wednesday night, although the ceremony will still air live on CBS at 8PM ET. Country star, Keith Urban, is still set to host the ACM Awards on the new date.

In years past, the ACM Awards have usually taken place in Las Vegas, Nevada. This year, however, the location has yet to be confirmed. Further details including venue and performers will be announced in the coming weeks.

Lambert was one of many artists to perform during the ACM Presents: Our Country special. Eric Church, Blake Shelton, Thomas Rhett and more also participated in the memorable event.
