New Hampshire Man Accused Of Slapping Teen Wearing 'MAGA' Hat

Patrick Bradley, 34,

A 15-year-old Trump supporter was attacked outside of a polling site in New Hampshire during the state's primary. The teen, who was not identified, was volunteering for the Trump campaign and was standing at a tent near Windham High School wearing a red "Make America Great Again" hat.

"I was apprehensive about him wearing the MAGA hat because we know it can provoke and we know people don't like Trump," the boy's mother, Cathy Campbell, told Fox News. "But he wore the hat because he's a proud 15-year-old, and he doesn't know what people are going to be like."

As 34-year-old Patrick Bradley exited the school and walked past the tent, he saw the teen and slapped him across the face.

"My son was standing outside on the sidewalk, and he said 'have a nice night,' he said it to everyone. But this man was triggered," Campbell explained. "He said 'f--- you' to him and wound up his hand as fast as he could and slapped him across the face."

Two other volunteers rushed over, and Bradley started to attack them as well. He started throwing their signs around and tried to rip down the tent. He left before authorities could arrive, but was taken into custody on Thursday (February 13).

The Windham Police Department said he was charged with three counts of misdemeanor assault and one count of disorderly conduct. He is being held in lieu of $5,000 cash bail.

Donald Trump Jr., who was at the polling site earlier in the day and met the teen, tweeted a photo they took together.

So it turns out that I actually met the 15 year old victim shortly before he was attacked by a sick leftist. I asked an aide to find his number & just got off the phone with him & his mother. I thanked them for being such strong supporters. My family has your back Nate! #MAGA
