A Nike ad exec pitching Colin Kaepernick as the 30th "Just Do It" face must have been a heck of a meeting to be at. That guy - or gal - is good at their job - whoever they are. Did they bother to think down the road about the kid who brandishes his new pair of Nikes in the school gym one day, only to be asked by a teammate who has never really liked him anyway if that means he'll be taking a knee before the game? After all, a 30-year-old man was just indicted for yanking a MAGA hat off a teenager at a restaurant and tossing a soda in his face.
But, as mentioned, Nike can weather storms. Remember "Just Do It" face 23 or so...?
